Scallywags Pet Shop & Grooming Parlour

Croydon's one-stop shop for all your pets' needs, with grooming too!

Scallywags Pet Shop and Grooming Parlour is a family-run pet shop at 814-816 Wickham Road in Croydon. Its website says the business has been run by the same family for 41 years, with one family member running the shop, another running the grooming parlour and a third handling the books and local deliveries.

The shop stocks pet foods, treats, toys, beds and grooming items for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles and birds. It also makes its own small-animal enrichment and has its own ranges of cat and dog food. The grooming parlour is air conditioned and fully equipped, and takes dogs of all coat types, from a chihuahua to a Great Dane, although it no longer takes extra-large breeds such as labradoodles. Appointments are booked by phone or in store, and there is a qualified animal first aider in the parlour.

For dog owners, the shop's sign says "All Pets Welcome In Store". The nearest station on record is West Wickham, about a 13 minute walk away, with Eden Park about 19 minutes on foot.
