Farr's Dalston

Farr's Dalston is a bar, pub and music venue at 17-19 Dalston Lane, E8 3DF, in Dalston, Hackney. It stands alongside the Hackney Peace Mural and Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, and describes its look as "Dive bar meets Speakeasy vibes".

The ground-floor Dance Bar hosts free and paid events, and the basement Projection Room is a club-style space used for film screenings, bands and private parties. The basement can also be hired for private events, DJ sets or karaoke, with package deals that include sound systems, food platters and drink bundles. Its hire menu lists pizzas and charcuterie boards. The venue serves cocktails, local beers and craft wine.

The name comes from Farr's School of Dancing, which was based at the address in the 1930s; earlier in the century the site was a cinema, The Dalston Picture Palace.
