Bricklayers Arms

The Bricklayers Arms is a pub at 143 Masons Hill in Bromley town centre, run by Shepherd Neame. Locals call it "The Bricks", and its website says the pub's history dates back to 1851. Original brick tiling uncovered during a renovation has been restored and is a feature of the exterior.

Inside, the website describes green and cream decoration, wood panelling and pockets of snug seating, in a split-level layout with a bar on each level. Both bars stock beers, wines and spirits, including Shepherd Neame ales and lagers. The kitchen serves traditional pub classics with a twist, using locally sourced ingredients. There is a courtyard garden with bench furniture and planters, and interactive darts that can be pre-booked online.

For dog owners, the website shows a dog friendly icon, and Paws of London has recorded outdoor seating and an enclosed garden. The nearest stations are Bromley South (8 minutes on foot), Bickley (18 minutes) and Bromley North (18 minutes).
