The Thatched House is a pub at 115 Dalling Road in Hammersmith, by Ravenscourt Park. Its website says the building has been part of Dalling Road for almost 300 years, and it calls itself a traditional pub in an authentic London setting, with old world charm and a cosy feel.

The pub serves gins, malt whisky, stout and lager, and describes its food as homemade from fresh ingredients. Outside is a courtyard garden with a covered area, a BBQ hut and al fresco dining. For private functions there is an orangery dining room that the pub says can cater for up to 100 people. It also arranges funeral receptions, from drinks and buffets to sit-down meals.

On dogs, the website says it is very dog friendly and offers blankets, treats and drinks for dogs. It asks that you keep your dog with you, as not everyone loves dogs.

Ravenscourt Park station is a 4 minute walk away. Stamford Brook is about 9 minutes on foot and Hammersmith about 10.
