The Groom Room Old Kent Road

Dog-friendly pet supplies, grooming & vet care on Old Kent Road.

The Groom Room Old Kent Road is a dog grooming service inside the Pets at Home Pet Care Centre at Cantium Retail Park, 518 Old Kent Road, in Southwark. The same site lists vets services and grooming services, so a dog can be groomed and seen by a vet at one address.

The centre offers nutrition consultations, and small animals are kept in store: rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, gerbils and fish. Online orders can be collected in store through Pets at Home's One Hour Click & Collect service, although availability varies by store. Pets at Home also runs puppy playtime classes and other workshops at its stores, and the events page shows what is on near you.

For dog owners, the evidence on record is that Pets at Home stores welcome well-behaved dogs. A dog can come into the store as long as it is kept on a lead and under control at all times. The nearest station is South Bermondsey, a 13-minute walk, with Queens Road Peckham about 16 minutes away on foot.
