The Catford House

Catford's dog-friendly social club with local brews and a warm welcome.

The Catford House is a pub on Catford Broadway in Catford, Lewisham, which calls itself a 21st Century Social Club. It serves local beers and spirits, wine and hand-stretched pizzas daily, and describes itself as family-friendly.

The drinks list draws on local suppliers including Ignition Brewery, Catford Rhum, Davy's Wine Vaults and Mont58 Coffee, and the pub works in partnership with Portobello Brewery, with a rotating line-up of its keg and cask beers, plus cider and Guinness.

There is a garden at the back. The outdoor space was originally designed by Jonathan Cook Landscape Architects, and with a grant from the Veolia Environmental Trust, staff from GCDA have planted it with edible herbs and fruit trees that will eventually be used in the kitchen. The pub notes it sits near the busy South Circular.

For dog owners, the pub describes itself as dog-friendly. The nearest stations are Catford Bridge, a two-minute walk, and Catford, about four minutes away, with Ladywell around fifteen minutes on foot.
