Rutland Arms

Historic riverside pub with character, perfect for pints with your pooch near Hammersmith.

The Rutland Arms is a Greene King waterside pub at 15 Lower Mall, Hammersmith. Its website says it was built in 1849 and named after the smallest county in England. It lost its top floor and balcony in the Blitz and now stands as a two-storey building.

The kitchen serves burgers, steaks, pies and desserts, along with Sunday roasts, and vegan, vegetarian and no gluten containing options are available. The bar pours Greene King's own beers, including Flint Eye, Prior Life and Greene King IPA. There is a beer garden with views over the water, regular live music, disabled facilities and function rooms for hire. The Eventim Apollo is a short walk away and Furnivall Gardens is on the doorstep.

For dog owners, the pub's own website says it is dog-friendly and that it loves dogs great and small. Paws of London's dog-policy card below shows where our own record comes from and when it was last checked. Hammersmith station is about 6 minutes on foot.
