Medivet Canonbury - Canonbury Vets

Your dog's health partner in Islington, with easy access and a warm welcome for all pets.

Medivet Canonbury is a veterinary practice at 226-228 Essex Road, in Islington. Its branch page says it is co-owned by Leonardo Marrone, who is the Canonbury Partner. He trained in Italy, graduating in 2016, then worked in first-opinion practice in Cardiff and is now pursuing a surgical certificate, with a particular interest in orthopaedics.

The clinic team includes a veterinary surgeon with a particular interest in Emergency and Critical Care, registered and student veterinary nurses, and veterinary care and client care assistants. The website invites owners to create an account and book a pet's first consultation, and it lists a Standard Healthcare Plan. It also points to Medivet 24 Hour Kensington for out of hours care.

For dog owners, Paws of London has recorded dogs welcome indoors and step-free access, and one of the vets shares her home with a rescue dog. The nearest stations are Essex Road (2 minutes on foot), Canonbury (10 minutes) and Highbury & Islington (11 minutes).
