Rotunda Bar and Restaurant

Dog-friendly waterside dining near King's Cross with great views and outdoor seating.

Rotunda Bar and Restaurant is a waterside restaurant and bar on York Way in King's Cross, with views over Regent's Canal. It is in the Islington borough, a short walk from the station.

The menus use beef and lamb from the restaurant's own farm in Northumberland, and the kitchen serves sharing cuts, a Sunday roast and bottomless brunch. Drinks are available at the bar and on an English garden terrace run in partnership with Roebuck Estates. The full bar and restaurant menu is also served on a semi-covered terrace, and there is a group dining menu for parties of ten or more, plus private dining and hire. Kids have their own menu.

For dog owners, the recorded amenities are outdoor seating and an enclosed garden. Paws of London lists it as dog-friendly after an editorial check; the dog-policy card below shows where that comes from and when it was last checked.

The nearest stations are King's Cross and King's Cross St. Pancras, both about a six-minute walk away.
