Freemasons Arms Hampstead

Country pub charm with a dog-friendly garden in Hampstead.

The Freemasons Arms is a pub, bar and restaurant at 32 Downshire Hill in Hampstead, with its own courtyard and garden. It describes itself as a premium pub and a real country pub experience in Greater London, close to Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House, Keats House and the Freud Museum.

The kitchen serves Sunday roasts, freshly prepared mains and classic pub favourites, and there is a spacious outdoor seating area for eating and drinking. The pub does not take bookings for outside tables, so visitors walk in and ask about availability in the beer garden. Guests can reserve a table online, order delivery or collection, and buy gift cards. Fork buffet and sandwich buffet set menus are offered for events.

For dog owners, well-behaved dogs are permitted at the bar tables, in the garden and patio, and in the Hampstead Room, which is reached by stairs only. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. Hampstead Heath station is a 4 minute walk, Hampstead 8 and Finchley Road and Frognal 10.
