The Uptown Dog

The Uptown Dog is a dog grooming salon and boutique at 73 Trafalgar Road in Greenwich, which its website places a stone's throw from Greenwich Park. It says the groomer, Lucia, is City & Guilds Level 3 qualified.

Grooming is one-to-one and tailored to each dog, working at the dog's pace. Services include a full body haircut or de-shedding treatment for fluffy and double-coated breeds, a freshen-up for short-coated dogs between full grooms, and a puppy package that introduces grooming gently. The salon also offers Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning, plus spa products such as a whitening shampoo, an exfoliating butter and a deep conditioning treatment.

The boutique stocks natural treats and chews, toys from Toy Town, and a very wide range of collars, leads and harnesses. The website says everything on the shelves is chosen with health and wellness in mind.

Maze Hill station is a 3 minute walk away. DLR Greenwich and Cutty Sark are about 9 minutes on foot. The website mentions parking next to the shop and behind on Trenchard Street.
