The Clarence

The Clarence is a traditional British pub at 53 Whitehall, standing on the corner of Whitehall and Great Scotland Yard and overlooking Horse Guards. The pub describes itself as a short walk down Whitehall from Trafalgar Square, with a historic charm.

The kitchen serves classic pub dishes, from prawn cocktail and fish and chips to pies and ploughmans, and says its ingredients come from producers across the British Isles. Sunday roasts include a West Country rump of beef, a slow cooked Dingley Dell pork belly and a vegan roast, all with bottomless Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
