Toni Trains Dogs

Expert dog training that empowers owners, not just dogs.

Toni Trains Dogs is a dog training service serving South East London, listed at Kinburn Street in Rotherhithe, in the London Borough of Southwark. It offers group puppy classes and private training, and describes its methods as science-based positive reinforcement with a focus on choice and consent.

Group puppy classes run in Bermondsey SE1 and Deptford SE8. Private 1:1 sessions take place in the client's home for South East London, or over Zoom elsewhere. Sessions cover life skills such as sit, down, drop, leave it, settle, polite lead walking, attention and recall, and there are socialisation walks for puppies. An orientation session covers topics from toilet and crate training to nipping and biting. Cooperative Care sessions teach a dog to take part in its own care procedures.

The trainer says they are qualified through the Professional Association of Canine Trainers and registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council. Rotherhithe station is about four minutes' walk from the listed address, with Canada Water five minutes away.
