The Constitution

Canal-side Camden pub with a rooftop terrace. Well-behaved pups welcome!

The Constitution is a Young's pub at 42 St Pancras Way in Camden, in the London Borough of Camden, right on the Regent's Canal. Its own website describes three floors, draught beers, wines, alcohol-free drinks and a menu from the Head Chef.

The rooftop terrace is open all year round and has a retractable roof. The pub also has a Cellar Bar, which can be booked for private parties, and its rooftop and indoor spaces can be booked for birthdays and work celebrations. The menu runs from hearty classics to vegan dishes, and Sunday roasts come with baskets of Yorkshire puddings and gravy. The pub describes itself as a Sunday stop for families, friends and locals.

Paws of London lists it as dog-friendly after an editorial check; the dog-policy card below shows where that comes from and when it was last checked. Camden Road station is about four minutes' walk, with Camden Town roughly six minutes away and Mornington Crescent nine.
