Wood Street Veterinary Hospital

Barnet's long-established vet hospital with 24/7 emergency care & animal ambulance.

Wood Street Veterinary Hospital, also called Wood Street Vet Hospital, is a vet practice at 74 Wood Street in Barnet, EN5 4BW. It has been part of the inspiring vet care family since 2018, and says that beyond a new-look website nothing about the clinic has changed, with the same friendly faces and personal care.

The team offers consultations, preventative care and out-of-hours emergency support to pet owners across Barnet and the wider Hertfordshire area. Listed services include parasite treatments (worming, flea and tick), animal health certificates, and weight clinics and nutrition. Where a pet needs tests or treatment beyond what a local practice can offer, the vet can refer the animal to a team with the right facilities, and a referral pathway is published for veterinary professionals. Registered clients can book appointments, request repeat medication and pay by logging into their account. Pet Health Club plans are available, with one monthly payment and no joining fee.

The practice is wheelchair accessible, with assistance available at the main door. Paws of London lists it as dog-friendly after an editorial check; the dog-policy card below shows where that comes from and when it was last checked.
